Curriculum and Extra-Curricular activities
The ANNS center focuses on teaching Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). It applies a number of modern teaching strategies such as communicative approach, learner-centered education, digitally enriched education, etc. The courses offered at the Center aim to develop all communicational skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing; as well as to provide wide knowledge of Arabic literature and culture.
In addition to its intensive academic program, the Center organizes extra-curricular activities, including a series of seminars on Arab, Islamic, and Qatari culture, the history of the region, and general introductory lectures on the traditions of the Arab world. Students also have the opportunity to communicate with teachers through face-to-face meetings to ask any questions they may have. Furthermore, the Center provides access to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), allowing students to learn Arabic and obtain an accredited certificate upon completing these courses.

Courses Overview
The Arabic language program spans one academic term: Spring Term 2025. During this term, a student is expected to complete the Elementary I level. Upon completing the academic term – provided all requirements met – a student receives a language certificate, which states the language proficiency level completed and the grade received.
